Norway stocks lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 1.83%

The Oslo OBX fell by 1.83% on April 29. The best performer of the session on the Oslo OBX was Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA, which rose 10.50% or 29.5 points to trade at 310.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Telenor ASA fell 0.29%, or 0.5 points, to end at 170.9 points.

Norway stocks lower at close of trade; Oslo OBX down 1.83% Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Insurance, Materials and Auto & components sectors led shares lower. At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 1.83%. The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OSLO: NWC ), which rose 10.50% or 29.5 points to trade at 310.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Telenor ASA (OSLO: TEL ) fell 0.29% or 0.5 points to end at 170.9 and Petroleum Geo — Services ASA (OSLO: PGS ) was down 0.71% or 0.32 points to 44.62 in late trade. The worst performers of the session were Storebrand ASA (OSLO: STB ), which fell 11.33% or 3.40 points to trade at 26.60 at the close. Norsk Hydro ASA (OSLO: NHY ) declined 7.45% or 2.95 points to end at 36.50 and DNO International ASA (OSLO: DNO ) was down 6.47% or 0.90 points to 13.00. Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 146 to 41 and 3 ended unchanged. Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.80% or 1.60 to $58.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 2.20% or 1.43 to hit $66.06 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.32% or 3.90 to trade at $1210.00 a troy ounce.
