Russia: Beeline expands LTE network in Yaroslavl

VimpelCom (the Beeline brand) has expanded the coverage of its LTE network in Yaroslavl Region. The LTE network in the 2,600 MHz band now covers the towns of Pereslavl-Zalessky, Uglich and Gavrilov-Yam, as well as the villages of Dubki and Krasniye-Tkachi. The maximum broadband speed totals 70 Mbps there, and the average speed varies from 10 Mbps to 20 Mbps.

 

Russian mobile operator Vimpelcom, working under the Beeline brand, has expanded the coverage of its LTE network in the Yaroslavl region. The LTE network in the 2,600 MHz band now covers the towns of Pereslavl-Zalesskiy, Uglich and Gavrilov-Yam, as well as the villages of Dubki and Krasnye-Tkachi. The maximum broadband speed totals 70 Mbps there, and the average speed varies from 10 Mbps to 20 Mbps. The project was carried out as part of Beeline’s network-sharing agreement with MTS. Beeline launched its LTE services in the city of Yaroslavl in 2014 and in the city of Rybinsk in 2015.
